. I am truly amazed by these prints. I could never have the patience to hand cut these fabulous maps. The detail and thought that went into them is incredible. What happens if you make a mistake? Do you start over? I think I will leave the intricate paper cutting to the experts. Visit Famille Summerbelle for your favorite map print. .

So I decided that my Flora design needed a little something…like a background. There was just too much white space. I am not trained in any type of art unless you count architecture which I don’t think falls in the same category. What I am saying is that I need feedback and a little encouragement. Okay. A lot of encouragement. In any case, here is my revised Flora design (with background). I am going to do a few test prints so I can sell a few 10 x 10’s and have revised my Hound + Hydrant store that sells t-shirts and tote bags. .

Christina Perdue has an eye for drama. I love her photos with their dreamy quality and dark borders which add to the intensity of the moment captured in print.

These prints from the Vintage Pink Collection by Skippy Designs are so adorable. Now all I need is more wall space.

My son is having difficulty in reading and writing. It seems first graders are expected to read at 80 word per minute (at least that is the requirement thus far). Maybe I needed to post more of these fab alphabet posters in his room while he was an infant?
The bright orange would be great in any boy’s room. Does the gorilla come with this poster by Bless Design?
I especially love this poster by Creative Neesh since my son has robots gracing one wall of his bedroom.
This poster by Petit Collage is so fun with the animal shapes and bright colors.
And how can you not appreciate the chalkboard effect of this poster by The Small Object? |

I came across this adorable print by Cate Holst called Romeo Loves Juliet. It makes me wish I had a room dedicated to frilly, girly romantic things. Unfortunately I am surrounded by boys (the husband, the son, two boy dogs and I swear the fish are all boys too!) The next home I have will have a ME space where no boys are allowed and I will fill it with prints like this one. Cate Holst also has beautiful jewelry pieces on her Etsy site. If that isn’t enough, she has a truly inspirational blog full of design and color. |
